dc.descriptionThis was an activity tried in 2008 in which the students worked through examples in class that would give them direct insight into topics coming up in the class, or reinforce ones just covered. Attached are some of the examples used. Some of the files also include examples worked through in class during that week. This was done at the request of students who felt that a lot of time was spent writing down the text of the examples. The activity did not receive strong endoresement from the students. Most found it of marginal value compared to time spent on the regular lecture. - An activity tried in 2008, in which the students worked through problems in class time
